I made this piece for Inktober 2020 right after the vice presidential debate. I wanted to convey the danger that Pence's harmless exterior represented. He created a veil of normalcy that could allow those on the fence to make excuses for the extremes of the Trump administration. This was my first attempt at a 'political cartoon' (if it can be categorized as that).
