The Always Perfect Chablis

I had the honor to ride Ms. Chablis when I visited one of my close friends from college. She is a gorgeous flea-bitten gray, warmblood mare. She has won in all three rings—hunters, jumpers, and equitation. But what makes her truly special is that she takes care of her riders and LOVES to jump (and she is damn good at it)! I did this portrait as a thank you to my friend, Emma, and her mom, Sarah, who were so kind and generous to give me the chance to ride her. I am most proud of capturing Chablis’s beautiful eyes.
